This interactive web-based project explores the concept of weight, both literal and metaphorical, through user interaction. While the cursor seems unbounded by gravity, moving effortlessly across the screen, it raises intriguing questions about the weight of our actions: Does clicking a link impart metaphorical weight to it?
By translating mouse movements into dynamic visuals, the project emphasizes the profound impact of a seemingly insignificant cursor on the screen. It invites users to reflect on how everyday digital gestures, such as clicking, carry meaning in the digital world. The system also supports real-time collaboration, allowing users to see not only their own cursor but also those of others on the site. The movement of the tank is influenced by the collective average of all cursors, illustrating how individual inputs converge to shape shared outcomes on the Internet.
